1 lime
25 g of butter
50 ml whole milk
25 ml fresh cream
Half a teaspoon of starch
4 sprigs of rosemary
1 bay leaf

Description

With the Carnealfuoco Aia appetizers, the barbecue is ready in no time. The tender Italian pork bites alternated with layers of lard and peppers are suitable for both lunch under a large umbrella, and dinner in the garden under the starlight. A lime sauce that gives lightness and you will want to have seconds.

These pork skewers in lime sauce are simply delicious and their preparation can be adapted to many occasions, even for a romantic dinner or for a treat to enjoy in front of the TV.

Procedure

The pork skewers in lime sauce are easily prepared starting from the sauce: put the zest of a lime to infuse for 40 minutes in hot milk.

The lime juice instead will be used, after being filtered, in a saucepan with a bay leaf. It should cook until it slightly evaporates.

After 40 minutes remove the peels from the milk, mix it with the cream and bring it to a boil. In the meantime, work the butter with a tip of a teaspoon of starch and add it to the sauce.

Adjust the salt then pass everything through the blender, removing the bay leaf.

The appetizers will cook on the barbecue in about ten minutes. Turn them often so that they brown well on all sides.

Serve them with the lime sauce on the side and garnish with sprigs of rosemary that you will use to brush the sauce.
