1 slice of turkey breast
200 g of basmati rice
80 g of peas
8 shrimps
2 tablespoons of curry
Fresh ginger
Star anise
Onion
Garlic
Salt
Pepper

Description

The curry chicken, as good as the one in Indian restaurants, is not that difficult to make at home.

Serve it with white rice instead of bread and you will have a perfect single dish especially for winter evenings, when you want a lot of substance after a hard day's work!

Here is the recipe for curry chicken.

Procedure

Start with the basmati rice which should be left in cold water and rinsed several times to remove as much starch as possible. When the water remains clear, the rice will be ready to be cooked. You can cook the rice by boiling it while in a pan you prepare the sauté with onion, thinly cut ginger, garlic and star anise and a drizzle of oil.

When the mixture has wilted, add the two tablespoons of curry and a little water to obtain a thick sauce without lumps.

Cut the slice of chicken breast into cubes and shell the shrimps, then add them to the sauté and mix them well.

Drain the rice and arrange it on the plate next to the curry chicken and shrimp.
