Description
Children in front of a chicken thigh cannot resist, but they might disdain the vegetables you put next to them. With chicken thighs and peas you can be sure they won't say no. Choose tender and sweet peas and you will see that not even one will be left.
In the dish with the meat cooking sauce everything will acquire an absolutely irresistible flavor so don't forget to put on the table some bread with a lot of soft crumb to do the scarpetta!
Procedure
To prepare the chicken thighs with peas, first chop the onion and brown it in a pan with a knob of butter. Add the frozen or fresh peas and stir well for a few minutes to flavor everything.
If you choose canned peas, drain them from the liquid first. After the peas have browned, add the chicken drumsticks and moisten with a ladle of broth. Keep the flame medium low, close with the lid and let it cook for about 45 minutes. Serve the chicken thighs drizzling them with the cooking sauce and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
