Description

For those always mindful of their figure, chicken is the ideal main course. If you lack the right idea to cook it while maintaining lightness and combining taste, you can season it with a delicate lemon sauce and thyme. You only need 16 minutes to bring something new and very tasty to the table. The chicken in lemon and thyme sauce can be taken in the lunchbox and is a great solution for dinner when fatigue takes over and a really quick recipe is needed.

Procedure

1

To prepare the chicken fillets in lemon and thyme sauce, squeeze the lemon juice and dilute it with half a glass of water, then add the sifted cornstarch and mix.

2

Put a drizzle of oil in a pan and when it is hot, arrange the chicken fillets. Turn on both sides to brown well, adjust with salt and remove from the pan.

3

Pour in the lemon juice and cook for about a minute over low heat, stirring with a wooden spoon to thicken the sauce.

4

Add the thyme, pepper and grated zest of half a lemon. Pour the sauce over the chicken fillets and serve.
