Description

Appetizer skewers are a really practical solution for when you have many friends and little time to prepare snacks. They are in fact a finger food very easy to prepare and naturally also to eat! Thanks to the spinacine you can therefore make appetizer skewers in a few minutes that are not only delicious to eat, but also extremely scenic.

The appetizer skewers can also be enjoyed on many other occasions: they can in fact be served at a summer Sunday brunch with all your friends, or for a fun dinner with the kids and for all those occasions, lunch or dinner,  when time is really short.

To prepare the appetizer skewers you will first need to prepare all the ingredients.

Procedure

1

The Spinacine cook in just 10 minutes, so try to have sauces and cocktails ready so you can serve the skewers while they're still hot!

2

Then wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half and wash the basil leaves well: let the basil leaves dry well by spreading them on a sheet of absorbent paper. Also prepare the mozzarella balls by draining the water they are stored in and put the toothpicks on the table.

3

Prepare the Spinacine by heating them in the oven at 200°C for 10 minutes. If the temperatures are too high and you don't want to use the oven, then put a little oil in a pan and brown them for about three minutes on each side. Once ready, cut the Spinacine into cubes and proceed with the assembly of the ingredients on the skewers.

4

Now you have all the elements to create the appetizer skewers: skewer a square of Spinacina, a mozzarella ball, a basil leaf and a cherry tomato. Continue like this until the end of the skewer.

5

Serve the crispy Spinacine skewers on a large white plate decorated with a fresh green salad and accompany with a bowl of mayonnaise, better if homemade: it only takes a few minutes if you follow the recipe for mayonnaise made with a hand blender.

Suggestions

An extra suggestion to serve the appetizer skewers during a summer dinner in the garden? Take a melon or a small watermelon and cut it in half: empty it and use the pulp to make a fresh dessert or a fruit salad.

Put the half emptied watermelon on a serving plate and now... skewer the appetizer skewers into the rind. You will have a beautiful centerpiece to look at and delicious to eat!
