1 package of classic rustic skewers
8 ripe tomatoes
1 clove of garlic
8 mint leaves
Salt
Pepper
150 g of extra virgin olive oil
95 g of herbs: fennel
thyme
marjoram
fresh rosemary and mint
Grapefruit zest
40 g of black pepper
15 g of garlic

Description

When the good weather arrives, you feel like organizing a nice barbecue. Grilled meat with grilled vegetables, toasted bread and more. The possibilities are endless, but with the classic rustic skewers from AIA everything becomes easier. These skewers are made with fresh pork thigh morsels with sausage and peppers. What more could you want from life?

Procedure

To prepare this dish, first chop the fennel, thyme, marjoram, rosemary and mint with the grapefruit peel and garlic. Mince everything and add the chopped pepper, then add the oil.

Place the marinade in a dish and place the skewers on top, making sure all sides are wet, or brush the marinade on the skewers. Let rest for at least an hour.

In the meantime, cut the tomatoes in half and season them with a drizzle of EVO oil before grilling them on the barbecue. Once cooked, place them on a baking sheet and crush them with a fork. To season them, mix together oil, salt, pepper, chopped garlic and mint leaves broken by hand.

When the skewers are cooked, arrange them on the serving dish and surround them with the tomatoes. Accompany everything with a slice of bruschetta bread rubbed with garlic and a drizzle of oil.
