Description

In spring, as we know, preparations with artichokes are among the most popular, so here is the recipe for meat-stuffed artichokes, easy and tasty.

Artichokes can be prepared in many ways, but meat-stuffed artichokes are baked. The pungent and characteristic flavor of artichokes, will marry perfectly with the meat and the result will be guaranteed! All you have to do is get to the stove!

Procedure

1

First of all, clean the artichokes by removing the stem and the tougher outer leaves, remove the beard and the innermost leaves to create a hollow that collects the meat filling. Leave the artichokes to soak in acidulated water and dedicate yourself to the filling.

2

The stuffing for meat-stuffed artichokes is very similar to that of meatballs, so you will not encounter too many difficulties in preparation. In a bowl, put the ground meat, the crumbled sausage, the chopped parsley, the egg and the grated cheese. Adjust the salt and pepper and mix very well until all the ingredients are well blended. Add the breadcrumbs to the mixture, mix and stuff the artichokes.

3

Grease a baking dish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, arrange the artichokes with the open part facing upwards, add a sprinkle of grated cheese and a little oil on each artichoke, then bake at 180°C for 30 minutes. The baked meat-stuffed artichokes are perfect as a main course or as an appetizer. If you love vegetables, serve them with baked potatoes crispy!
