2 packages of AIA Turkey Roast
One onion
One carrot
30 g of flour
500 ml of milk
2 cloves of garlic
50 g of butter
500 g of new potatoes
Extra virgin olive oil as needed
Sage and rosemary as needed
Salt and pepper

Description

This original AIA recipe is perfect to be served and enjoyed on various occasions: it is the roast turkey with milk sauce and new potatoes, a triumph of flavor that will conquer you from the first taste.

Procedure

Wash the potatoes well, then dry them and arrange them without peeling them in a baking dish greased with a little extra virgin olive oil.
Add a clove of garlic in its skin, a pinch of salt and the aromatic herbs (sage and rosemary).
Bake at 180°C for about 40 minutes: the potatoes should appear amber and crispy.

In the meantime, slice the onion, the carrot, the other clove of garlic and the half onion, then sauté this mixture in a pan with the butter.
When the onion is transparent, pour the warm milk and the sifted flour directly into the pan, stirring well to avoid lumps, thus obtaining a smooth and homogeneous sauce.
When this has reached a creamy consistency, adjust the salt and turn off the heat.

In another pan, pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and heat the AIA Turkey Roast for a few minutes adding a pinch of pepper.
As soon as it is hot, serve it with the milk sauce and accompany it with the crispy new potatoes.
