The recipe for pasta with broccoli and sausage is simple to make and very tasty; it could also be a great way to convince the most reluctant to eat this vegetable, such as for example children.

This is a rustic and hearty first course, perfect for the cold season. It is characterized by the meeting of two very different flavors that marry perfectly in the dish: in this recipe, in fact, the strong flavor of the broccoli is rounded and softened by the sweetness of the sausage Good Discovery Luganega AIA.

As for the vegetable, choose broccoli that have compact and bright green inflorescences, they must be firm and produce a dry sound when they are broken. By keeping them in the refrigerator they maintain their crunchiness for 4-5 days.



To cook pasta with broccoli and sausage start with cleaning the broccoli. With a knife, separate the tops from the stem, clean it and cut it into chunks. Wash everything thoroughly and drain.


Now take the Good Discovery Luganega AIA sausage and cut it into pieces of about 1 or 2 centimeters. Take a large pot and bring to a boil in plenty of salted water. Now dip the broccoli and cook for about 10 minutes


Remove some broccoli from the cooking water, using a slotted spoon. Blend the broccoli you have extracted with a hand blender and add some cooking water. Now you can pour the pasta into the pot and cook for 7/9 minutes

When it is well cooked add your broccoli cream, the penne and the tops of the broccoli. Sauté everything in the pan for a few minutes; finally adjust the salt and cream with the pecorino.
