The fig and bacon rolls, just like the most traditional chicken rolls, are ideal for bringing a tasty and rich appetizer to the table.

Procedure

To prepare the fig and bacon rolls, take advantage of the summer barbecue and cook the bacon on the barbecue until it is slightly crispy.

Wash the figs and cut them in half. Cut the mozzarella into cubes and place a couple in the center of the fig pulp.

Wrap each half fruit with a slice of bacon and, if it is too long, cut it in half. Secure the rolls with a toothpick or tie them with kitchen string

Heat a pan and, when it is hot, place the rolls. Let them cook for 5/7 minutes, until the mozzarella melts.

Alternatively, you can cook the bacon in the oven at 180°C for 20 minutes or in a pan.
