Description

The Halloween muffins are the ideal recipe to please everyone and to bring a scenic and delicious dessert to the table! Making them will be very simple: you just need to bake some simple muffins and give them the “terrifying” appearance of little mummies! The base of this dessert is in fact the recipe for vanilla muffins, while the topping is made from sugar paste. An easy and very funny recipe, for a Halloween treat with which to make your children happy and why not, even the adult guests!

Here's how to prepare the Halloween mummy muffins!

Procedure

Score the vanilla bean with a knife and remove the seeds. Put both seeds and the bean to boil in the milk.

Once the milk has warmed up, remove the bean and pour it into a bowl, where you will then add the egg and the oil; then mix well. In another bowl pour all the other ingredients: flour, yeast and sugar.

Now combine the two mixtures, mixing well, until you get a homogeneous dough that you will pour into the appropriate muffin cups and bake in a hot oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes.

Take the muffins out of the oven and let them cool down. Roll out the sugar paste and cut out circles the diameter of the muffins. Use the sugar paste circles as a coating for each muffin, placing them on the surface of each treat.

Cut many strips of various sizes, both in thickness and length, from the sugar paste. Arrange them on the disc, giving them various angles to form a mummy. To make the eyes you can use chocolate drops!
