3 Extra Fresh Large AIA Eggs
500 g of pumpkin
50 g of pecorino cheese
50 g of flour
Seed oil for frying
100 g of smoked scamorza cheese
1 bunch of parsley
80 g of breadcrumbs

Description

The Halloween meatballs are the ideal appetizer to serve on the occasion of a Halloween aperitif, a themed dinner and will delight all your guests thanks to the goodness and genuineness of their ingredients. Preparing Halloween meatballs is really quick and easy and you can pair them with tasty sauces (based on avocado, yogurt or a delicious barbecue sauce) to make them even more appetizing!

Procedure

Remove the pumpkin seeds and filaments; cut it into slices and bake it for about 20 minutes at a temperature of 180°C. Put the pumpkin pulp in the mixer and blend it.

Put the pulp in a bowl together with a egg, the pecorino, the parsley, the rosemary, the smoked scamorza (which you will have cut into cubes), 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs, salt and pepper.

In a plate put the flour, in one the breadcrumbs and in another the eggs beaten together with a pinch of salt. Form the meatballs and pass them in the flour, then in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs.

Fry the meatballs in a non-stick pan with plenty of hot oil until they reach the desired browning. Place them on absorbent paper (so as to absorb the excess oil).
