First of all, cut the bacon into pieces, which you will fry in a non-stick pan for a few minutes. Clean and cut the pumpkin into cubes that you will put in the pan where you have browned the bacon (once the latter is ready, transfer it to a small bowl).

Add a drizzle of boiling water to the pan and cook over low heat, adjusting the salt. In the meantime, boil plenty of salted water in a pot and cook the pasta al dente. Once both the pumpkin and the pasta are cooked, combine them in the pan along with a ladle of cooking water and mix well.
