Description

The Women's Day is approaching if you plan to celebrate with friends, the mimosa cake is the recipe for you! Invite your friends for dinner, set the table for the party, choose a simple menu but effective and then prepare the mimosa cake following our advice!

Preparing the mimosa cake is not so difficult: here is the complete recipe!

Procedure

1

In a saucepan pour the water, sugar, orange juice and turn on a low heat so that the sugar dissolves. Boil and in the meantime whisk the custard with a kitchen whisk to make it creamy to the right point. Combine the whipped cream with the custard and whisk both with a spatula, stirring gently from bottom to top.

2

Set aside a third of the cream and remove the sponge cake from the side and top crust, then cut it into three layers. Cut one layer into cubes, which you will blend in the mixer. Wet the base with the soak created earlier, cover with creams and sprinkle each layer of cream with strawberries that you have previously cut into pieces and softened with sugar in a bowl.

3

Spread the remaining cream on the sides of the cake and completely cover the latter with the blended sponge cake, which will create the desired mimosa effect. Finally decorate the mimosa cake with pieces of fresh fruit.
