3 fresh eggs
300 g of flour
3 apples
70 g of butter
1 glass of milk
1 lemon
1 packet of baking powder

Description

A traditional recipe that never goes out of style? Without a doubt, that of the apple pie: good, delicate and really easy to prepare. The apple pie is the perfect recipe if you want to enjoy something genuine for an afternoon snack (children will love it) or if you want to add a touch of sweetness to a Sunday brunch. The apple pie is also perfect for a hearty breakfast to which you can add a glass of orange juice or a juice rich in vitamins.

After washing the apples, peel them, remove the core and cut into wedges that you will marinate with a little sugar and lemon juice in a bowl. In the meantime, whisk the yolks together with the sugar, until you get a frothy cream (set the egg whites aside).

Add the sifted flour to the mixture, along with the melted butter and milk. Mix all the ingredients. Reduce most of the apple slices into even smaller pieces and add them to the mixture. Also add the sifted baking powder and then whisk the egg whites until stiff, which you will incorporate into the mixture.

Pour this mixture into a round baking dish that you have previously buttered and sprinkled with flour. You can arrange the remaining apple slices on the surface of the cake as decoration. Finally, bake the apple pie in the oven for about 40 minutes at 180°.
