Description

The English soup is one of the most famous spoon desserts ever, along with tiramisu and various creams (like the catalana, for example).

Although the name may be misleading, the English soup is a dessert of our Italian tradition, which is characterized in particular by the use of sponge cake, Alchermes liquor and custard. In this special recipe that we propose, the classic English soup is made with the addition of three varieties of chocolate: white, milk and dark.

If you can't wait to try it, then discover here the delicious recipe of the English soup with 3 chocolates!

Procedure

1

Start by preparing a normal custard with the Fresh Large Gold Nature AIA Eggs (the recipe here) which you will then divide into 3 equal parts and enrich with the 3 chocolates.

2

Once this operation has been carried out, melt the 3 chocolates (dark, milk and white) separately in a bain-marie or in the microwave and add them to the 3 parts of custard.

3

Now prepare the soak for the sponge cake base (or for the Savoiardi) by mixing in a saucepan over low heat two glasses of water with 100 g of sugar; when the latter has dissolved, add the Alchermes liquor and mix well, then let it cool.

4

Arrange the base of sponge cake or biscuits in the containers you have chosen, then soak with the soak and cover with a layer of dark chocolate cream; continue with a second layer of sponge cake or Alchermes biscuits and complete with a layer of milk chocolate and, finally, of white chocolate.
