Description

If you can't resist sweets, the only sensible advice is not to give in. For your last-minute sweet craving, for an impromptu spoon dessert at the end of a meal, or even for a sweet breakfast or Sunday brunch, learning how to make custard will certainly be helpful.

You can serve the custard with dry biscuits, or with fresh fruit, and for important meals, it can also be used as a filling or accompaniment for a soft cake.

Here's how to prepare a perfect, easy, and especially delicious custard with fresh fruit.

Procedure

1

Put the milk in a saucepan and bring it to a boil with the seeds from the vanilla pod. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine the egg yolks and sugar, mixing very well until you get a smooth and creamy mixture. Beat as long as you can, this way the eggs will be very frothy and you will have an even better cream.

2

Let the milk cool slightly and pour it into the cream, stirring constantly to blend the various ingredients. At this point, add the flour gradually and mix everything together.

3

Transfer the cream to the heat and cook it for 15 minutes, continuing to stir to prevent lumps from forming. Once cooked, let the cream cool and then transfer it to the refrigerator until serving time.

4

Serve the custard with the peaches, peeled and diced.
