Let's now see the recipe for baked leeks with ham and carrots.
Procedure
Clean the leeks, remove the outer leaves. Clean and also cut the carrots into slices. Blanch the carrots for 10 minutes in boiling salted water. When there are two minutes left, add the leeks. Now drain the vegetables and start buttering a baking dish.
At this point create rolls, wrapping around each leek a slice of cooked ham and place them in the baking dish.
Pour the béchamel sauce and a generous sprinkling of Parmesan cheese, which will serve to gratinate your dish. Salt and pepper to taste.
Now sauté the carrots in a pan with garlic and parsley for a few minutes. They will serve as a note of color and side dish for your dish. Now you can bake and cook for about 10 minutes until the béchamel sauce has formed a tasty crust.
