20 g of black truffle
8 slices of sandwich bread
80 g of fontina cheese
80 g of Grana Padano cheese
80 g of breadcrumbs
200 g of extra virgin olive oil

The oven-baked toast with truffle and cheese meringue will be a real surprise to bring to the table, perhaps to amaze during a romantic dinner or as a chef's touch during a brunch. With this recipe, you can make a delicious snack and beautiful: it will be a treat to indulge in when needed. Here's how to make it!

Procedure

To prepare the oven-baked toast with truffle and cheese meringue place on a slice of bread a slice of AIA AeQuilibrium Cooked Pork Ham.

On top of the ham, spread a slice of fontina or Piedmontese tometta and then another slice of AIA AeQuilibrium Cooked Pork Ham.

Cover everything with the other slice of bread exerting a light pressure. Then pass the toast in the beaten egg and, subsequently, in a breading composed of a mix of breadcrumbs and grated Grana Padano, thus obtaining the classic French croque-monsieur toast.

In the meantime, prepare the meringue by whipping the egg whites until stiff with a pinch of salt and a sprinkling of grated Parmesan.

Place your toasts on a tray lined with baking paper and, on top of each one, place a spoonful of meringue and bake in the oven at 200°C for 10 minutes.

Garnish with plenty of black truffle and serve your oven-baked toast with truffle and cheese meringue while hot.
