Grilled Pastin with Polenta and Mushrooms
Ingredients
Description
The pastin is a traditional dish from Belluno that was prepared with fresh minced and flattened meat in the shape of a rectangle. The meat of the pastin was flavored with spices and grilled, to be then accompanied by classic side dishes such as mashed potatoes and polenta!
AIA suggests preparing the pastin with its Chicken, Turkey and Pork Schiacciata for a tasty and also lighter version.
Here's how to prepare the recipe step by step.
Procedure
Put the schiacciata on the hot grill and cook it well on both sides.
In the meantime, in a small pot bring the water to a boil, lower the heat and add the cornmeal in a rain. Add a drizzle of oil and a pinch of salt. Cook the polenta stirring constantly.
In a pan, fry a clove of garlic in a drizzle of oil. Add the cleaned mushrooms, adjust with salt and pepper and cook for about ten minutes. Turn off the heat and add the chopped parsley.
