Description

When Halloween is around the corner, you need to prepare for the craziest party of the year by taking care of all the details.

If you have already carved the pumpkins, prepared the custom candles and established the menu of snacks for the Halloween party, you cannot miss making the ghost meringues!

Use them to decorate the buffet table, or as a decoration in hot chocolate for the children. In short, the uses are many and the meringue ghosts are also delicious.

To prepare the ghost meringues very quickly you can use the microwave, with the traditional oven otherwise it will also take an hour and a half. Let's see both procedures.

Procedure

1

Preheat the oven to 100°C. In the meantime, start whipping the egg whites. After about 2 minutes, add the cream of tartar, then the powdered sugar and finally the vanilla extract.

2

The egg whites must become very firm and cold before being put in a pastry bag with which you will form, one by one, the ghosts: place the ghosts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

3

Let them cook for at least 4 hours keeping the oven semi-open so that no condensation is created that would soften the meringues. After the time, turn off the oven and let the meringues rest always with the door semi-open.
