Description

Do you want to pamper yourself for lunch at the office or give yourself a special moment at home in front of the TV? The orange chicken fillets are just for you. This is an easy and quick recipe that will give a whole new taste to dinners and lunches in the name of lightness.

The recipe for orange chicken fillets is perfect if accompanied by both cold and hot side dishes. It is a delicious second course that, in addition to basmati rice, can become a complete and tasty single dish.

Procedure

1

Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for about 1 hour and then proceed with the preparation.

2

Grate the orange peel avoiding the white part: this step is fundamental to prevent the chicken from acquiring a bitter aftertaste. At this point squeeze the orange and save the juice.

3

Dust the chicken breasts with flour and brown them in a pan with a knob of butter. When they are golden, add the grated orange peel and deglaze with the juice.

4

Add also the glass of brandy on high heat and wait a few moments for the alcohol to evaporate.

5

When it has evaporated, remove the chicken from the pan and place it on a plate, add the milk to the sauce and scent with some sprigs of thyme until it thickens well. Stir and cook on low heat until you have obtained a soft sauce. Pour it over the chicken breasts before bringing them to the table, adjust with pepper and garnish with some slices of orange.
