Description

At Christmas tradition is a must, but why not go further with a touch of creativity? We want to propose a truly original recipe: pappardelle with white mushroom and bacon sauce with pomegranate seeds. On the Christmas table, tradition is an element that certainly cannot be missing and fresh pasta is always the real protagonist. To enhance it at its best, an elegant, refined and precious seasoning is needed: hence the mushrooms join the bacon in a really tasty white sauce, while the pomegranate seeds give crunchiness, color and sweetness to the dish. Set the Christmas table with centerpieces, place cards and DIY candles and delight your guests with a Christmas menu really with bows that, in addition to Christmas tartines and stuffed capon, also proposes this truly unique first course!

Procedure

Cut the AIA bacon slices into strips following the short side of the slice. Heat a non-stick pan, add the bacon and brown it until it is well crispy. If necessary, add a drizzle of oil. In another pot, sauté a clove of garlic and a sprig of rosemary in extra virgin olive oil. Add the cleaned mushrooms cut into coarse pieces. Adjust with salt and pepper, then deglaze with white wine. When the wine has evaporated, add the bacon to the mushrooms and mix well.

Boil the pappardelle in plenty of salted boiling water, drain them al dente and dip them in the sauce keeping aside a little sauce for the decoration of the dish. Wrap the pappardelle in a nest, add a spoonful of sauce, pomegranate seeds, flakes of Parmesan, a sprig of rosemary and serve! Enjoy your meal!
