Description

One of the most famous dishes of Mexican cuisine in the world? The chicken fajitas, of course!

Preparing this tasty ethnic recipe at home will give you a lot of satisfaction, both for the unique taste of the dish and for the procedure to follow which - contrary to what you might think - is quite simple, but will still test your level in the kitchen, between technical steps and balance of flavors.

The secrets to the success of the dish are two: carve out a little time in front of the stove and put all the passion you have. Here then are the necessary ingredients and all the steps to make the famous Mexican chicken fajitas.

Procedure

1

Start by marinating the chicken in beer, for about an hour, following this recipe.

2

In the meantime, wash and slice the onion into thin rings, then clean the peppers well and cut them into strips. Then heat a large non-stick pan, add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and cook the vegetables over low heat until they are soft, but not too much.

3

Drain the meat from its marinade and add it to the pan with the vegetables: raise the heat, salt, pepper and add the chopped parsley, the cumin and the Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.

4

Quickly heat the fajitas in the oven and serve them with the chicken and vegetables: you can also accompany the dish with some typical Mexican condiments and side dishes, such as guacamole (the recipe here), sour cream, spicy Mexican red sauce (the recipe here), strips of cheese, diced cherry tomatoes and bean cream.
