An onion
500 g of tomato puree
A tablespoon of tomato concentrate
A tablespoon of sugar
50 ml of balsamic vinegar
Fresh parsley to taste
Extra virgin olive oil to taste

All you have to do is prepare an excellent homemade sweet and sour sauce based on tomato and balsamic vinegar, to be used to season your BonRoll before baking it. The result will be a soft and tasty meat, an explosion of flavor that the whole family will love.

Here are the ingredients and the procedure to make the recipe for BonRoll baked in sweet and sour sauce.

Procedure

Clean and finely chop the onion, then stew it over low heat in a non-stick pan with a little extra virgin olive oil.

When it has become soft and transparent, add the tomato puree, the sugar, the balsamic vinegar diluted with a little water and the chopped parsley (a pinch will be enough). Season with salt and pepper, then cook over low heat for at least 20 minutes, until you have obtained a thick consistency.

Pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and half a glass of water into a baking dish, place the BonRoll in it and brush the entire surface with plenty of sweet and sour sauce.

Cover the baking dish with a sheet of aluminum foil and bake at 180°C for 50 minutes, then remove the cover and continue cooking for another 20 minutes.
