TURKEY LEG STEW, GOULASCH STYLE
The original recipe for goulash calls for beef but it is just as good when made with turkey.
400 g di AIA Turkey Leg Pieces
80 g sweet paprika
20 g spicy paprika
4 large onions
50 g butter
1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
Coat the turkey pieces in the sweet paprika powder. Meanwhile, soften the finely chopped onion in the pan with the butter and extra-virgin olive oil.
When the onion is soft, brown the turkey pieces in the same pan until golden.
Add the desired amount of spicy paprika. Gradually add boiling meat stock or water.
The stew will take about 25 minutes to cook thoroughly. When ready, serve with boiled potatoes.
