1968

FOUNDATION

The great adventure of AIA, Agricola Italiana Alimentare, started at the end of the ‘60s. Destined to become one of the most important brands of the Italian agroindustrial division, its name was associated with the high quality and food safety of poultry, right from the outset.

1970

DID YOU SAY AIA CHICKEN?

AIA has always attributed great importance to communication: so, right from the start it channelled its product advertising through TV commercials. Back in 1970, it entered Italian homes with a commercial that put the spotlight on AIA's earliest product: chicken. And what a chicken! It immediately won everyone's appreciation with its flavour.

1979

AVE NINCHI FOR AIA

It was 1979 when Ave Ninchi starred in an AIA commercial. Invited to eat with Italian families, Ave was so carried away by the authentic flavour of AIA chicken that she recounted the most amusing episodes of her career.

1980

AIA, EACH DISH IS A CELEBRATION

AIA chicken became a cartoon and met some of the most important celebrities of the past. Marilyn Monroe, Aladdin... no one could resist the unique flavour of AIA chicken!

1985

WUDY, THE FIRST CHICKEN WIENER SAUSAGE

The AIA family grew to adopt a product that was destined to seduce the palates and hearts of Italian consumers: Wudy. Light and delicious, this was the first chicken wiener sausage: no words can describe the goodness of Wudy

1987

AIA, READY FOR ANYTHING!

AIA takes up the challenge to serve Italians its quality meat in a new and practical form: Prontocuoci (ready to cook). Skewers, bite-sized chicken pieces, escalope and many other oven ready products. 

 

1994

PLEASE YOURSELF OR OTHERS? TREAT YOURSELF TO WHATEVER'S GOING!

In 1990 AIA launched Spinacine AIA: a chicken or turkey escalope with tasty leaf spinach, coated with crisp breadcrumbs.

HERE COMES BONROLL

Onto the Italians' dinner table came BonRoll, the oven-ready white meat roast with its tasty filling. Even the most inexpert cooks could now serve up a delicious roast.

AEQUILIBRIUM: FINDING THE RIGHT BALANCE

Flavour and lightness find a new balance thanks to Aequilibrium. A product line in which AIA makes cold cuts lighter thanks to the use of poultry meat. For those wishing to eat well and follow a light diet, without having to give up on flavour, from today, the solution is Aequilibrium.

Quality ingredients for quick-to-prepare dishes that are absolutely delicious! Aia’s Spinacine, together with Viennese, Milanese and Nagghy are being featured in the new AIA commercial. Tempting recipes of select chicken meat coated with breadcrumbs for extra crispness and flavour. Thank goodness for AIA!
